So far we have spent 3 days on Fort Myers Beach on the Gulf of Mexico and a weekend at Lake Okeechobee, which is the largest lake in Florida. The campground is right at the locks from the lake into the river. For those of you who may not know, you can cross Florida by water from Fort Pierce to Fort Myers. Large boats and barges make this trip.
