I am entering this section of the blog. Wednesday 7/4, I participated in the Thunder Road.  I drove my Cobalt SS on the track for 3 laps with several other people where we got up to 60 MPH.  It was a great experience.  It is definitely a different experience running the track than just watching the race from the bleachers.  Sunday I was taken on a personal tour of Watkins Glen Raceway by one of the 'connected' persons at the track.  I was taken to the tower at the start line where I toured the press box and race control center and watched the start of the race. From this advantage point I saw Dick in the pits where he helped the crew with the race. Then I was taken around to all the different sections of the track to get an upfront and personal view of the race. Dick will enter some more with pictures attached.
