Today was a busy day at the DeRose homestead. We had the following groups:
contractor - doing walls, demo-ing old walls, co-ordinating all the workers, building a box to put fireplace on, prepping outside for bricklayer.
electrician - adding all the lighting and wiring for the addition, wiring in the new power box, marking where all the sockets and switches go and which lights will function from which switches.
roofers - putting in the chimney for the fireplace, putting on the shingles
plumber - putting in the pipes for the addition and fireplace
barn crew - finally leveling off the slab and getting the walls in place for the concrete pour
Today Dick finished cutting the concrete floors for the electrical outlets for the electric recliners and end table lamps.
Tomorrow the flooring will be in and the brick layer will start.

Wow, it's hard to keep up! I really hope you're recording everything so we can all watch it in one 10 min. time lapse video when it's done. You're going to have to learn how to retire all over again.
