We ran into a slight snag in our selections for countertops.  The original kitchen counter top was not available in the thickness we wanted and the counter tops for the baths was so expensive because they had a minimum purchase.  also the two would not be availabe for several weeks which would be too late.

So we selected a new color for the kitchen: instead of chocolate truffle we are using caramel.  You can't really see any difference so it was a no-brainer since it was in stock.  The baths we actually went to the stone place and selected granite instead of caesarstone.  It is black with brown in it that will match the sinks perfectly.

All the counters will be installed Tuesday.

We have order the glass for the master bath and the large mirror.  Not sure when that will be coming in but I suspect it will sometime late next week.

We have laid 3 pallots of sod around the house and garage to stop some of the mud.

The trash dumpster is gone, finally.

We purchased the ceiling fans for all the major rooms

The painters have finished staining all the cabinetry.  They have finished all the trim and doors.  Today they are finishing the walls and the ceiling.  The outside painting will be done on Monday.

Dick has decided to add some heavy beam shelving in the "barn".  It is for the heavy things like generators and such so it won't be taking up space on the floor.

The wood blinds will be installed Sunday morning.

Hopefully the electrician and plumber will be here early next week to finish installing the fixtures and trimming. After they are finished we will be able to move our "stuff" into the house and remove the big container from the front yard.

We are getting so close it is hard to be patient.
