Haven't had a chance to update the blog for a couple of days. Well here is goes.
The floor crew laid down a barrier to prevent the tile from cracking when the house settles where the two halves meet.
They started laying the floor. It is exactly like they show on the home network shows. It looks great. They have the kitchen done, the great room done, the hallway into the bedrooms done and started into the master bedroom. They have left a "small walkway" on the edge so they or us can walk into the rooms to see the progress.
The garage on the house now has a fully functional large door with opener.
The electric company came and gave us power to the 'barn' which gives us power to the house. Yeah!!!! no more generators.
The barn is almost finished with the walls and roof. The doors will not be added until Wednesday of next week since the sub-contractor is having wrist surgery.
We now have our large driveway into the 'barn'.
We have selected the glass shower door and mirror in the master bath.
We have selected the company that will be putting in the blinds on all the windows.
Everything is coming together. till the next post.
