Catching up on our pictures

We camped at Payne's Prairie State Park for 4 days. It is a heavily wooded camp ground next to a huge prairie with  wild horse, feral pigs, deer and lots of alligators.

We visited the home of Marjorie Rawlings who wrote the Yearling.

we visited the small historic town of Micanopy , Fl. This town had a small historic museum and a number of historic houses.

  1. Now I see the alligators! I hope you were using a zoom lens. The Natural History museum looks really interesting, enjoyed all the birds. Are you going to the river where the manatees live? I think it was in northwest Florida but not all the way to the panhandle.
