Largo Florida

Largo is just north of St.Petersburg, south of Clear Water and west of Tampa. We have visited downtown St.Petersburg and went out on the Pier. They are going to tear it down and build a new one next year. We visited the historical museum. We went to Clear Water so we could walk on the beach and put our feet in the Gulf of Mexico. Clear Water Beach was nice but very touristy. We went out to dinner to a nice seafood restaurant on the water and had a good sea food dinner. I introduced Judy to raw oysters on the half self when we were in Santa Rosa Beach and she really likes them. We each had a dozen at dinner, they were big and very good. We found an Amish Grocery Store so Judy loaded up on Lebanon baloney and ring baloney. I also found a few Amish candies to restock my supply of chocolate.
We got our absentee ballots in the mail so we spent quite a bit of time researching the amendments so we could mark our ballots and get them in the mail.
Today we went to Tampa to visit Ybor City. This area of Tampa was were the cigar industry was centered. The old buildings are now bars, restaurants and shops. The are a lot of stores where one of two people still roll cigars but there is only one cigar manufacturing company still in business in Tampa. Wes] stopped there so I could stock up on cigars. We have called Dick and Cindy Carpenter a number of times but haven't gotten any return call. We went to there house and found out they moved to another place in the same park. We now have their new address so we may go by on Sunday.
Tomorrow we are driving down to Bradenton to see Rob and Marlinda Thomason. Monday we are going to Lazy Days Camp Ground to take an RV driving course. Thursday we are driving to Daytona for the Good Sam Club Rally. After the rally we are going to Sebring to see Dan and Kate.
