Texas

We left Florida on Tuesday morning heading for Texas. The first day we got North of Ocala, a little over 300 miles. We got an earlier start on Wednesday and managed to cover about 480 miles which took us through Florida, Alabama and Missouri. We stopped in Slidell, La. which is just outside New Orleans. Thursday we covered another 400 miles and got to Longview, Texas. The roads in Louisiana are terrible. They were bumpy with a lot of construction. We arrived home Friday about noon. We have the RV set up across the street at Keith's house because we have to disconnect the power to the house to put up the RV garage. Hopefully the electric company will move the guy wire next week so we can start the garage. All our furniture and the second car arrived ahead of us.
We are meeting with the contractor at 7 am this morning.
