4-2 & 4-3

Yesterday we had the french doors and the front door arrive.  They are beautiful.

The contractor and I went around the house and prepared for the insulation and drywall installers.

Dick has now found a permanent home for the "Bell".  It will never be able to be moved again.

Yesterday the drywall arrived.  I did not get a chance to take pictures but the load came on a semi-truck.  It had a crane on it that a guy used a 'box' to operate.  The crane lifted the boards up and over the tree and carport in the front of the house and into the garage where two other guys loaded them into dollies and wheeled them and placed them in the house.

The hardeeboard is for the shower, the yellow ends are for the ceiling and the blue are for the walls.  I got a few pix of the piles.

Today the crews came and started putting insulation in the ceiling and the other crew went behind them and put up the ceiling drywall.

The bathroom guy came and put in the liner for the shower.

The crews brought their own cooking items to make lunch.  They had it right there in the middle of the great room.  I just had to take the picture.

I will get some more pix tomorrow.
