We have done many things since my last post. We toured the site of the Battle of the Big Horn where Custer was killed.
We watched a gun fight in Cody Wyoming. Visited the Buffalo Bill museum which is a very big museum. They have 5 different wings. Their gun wing has 3000 pistols and rifles from all time periods. We saw a bird show with an eagle, red owl, turkey buzzard and a falcon.
We went to a good musical show and a rodeo.
We then traveled to a campground in West Yellowstone. While there we took two guided tours of the Yellowstone National Park. We saw Old Faithful erupt, many geysers, hot springs and waterfalls. We saw lots of Bison, elk, deer, eagles and a bear.
We are now in Jackson Wyoming. Yesterday we drove the 140 miles from West Yellowstone, through Yellowstone Park and through Tetons Park to Jackson. The road is hilly and curvy but at speeds between 25 and 45 mph it isn't too bad. We crossed the Continental twice at just over 8300 feet. The scenery is beautiful. Yesterday we took a 2 hour float trip on the snake river and then they cooked steaks for us.
Today we took a guided tour of Tetons National Park and the surrounding areas. we had lunch at one of the high end lodges in the park.
Here are pictures up until yesterday.
