On day two in Jackson, WY we took a bus to the Bar T5 ranch where we got on covered wagons pulled by large draft horses. We had a 30 minute ride up into the hills. Along the way we were attacked by Indians which a local mountain man chased off. We arrived at a shelter where we were served a great meal consisting of barbecue chicken, roast beef, baked beans, salad and blondies for dessert. We were then entertained by a great country band. We then boarded the covered wagons for the trip back down the hill. Pictures are in the link Tetons day 2.
We had a continental breakfast on Saturday morning and said good bye to all of our new friends. We left for Rock City, WY were we stopped for the night. Sunday we traveled to Laramie,Wy. Where we spent two nights. We toured the Historical Prison where Butch Cassidy was interned for a period of time. They also had a broom factory where the prisoners made brooms. They had a volunteer that showed us how they made brooms. We toured the country and then went downtown for lunch.We saw the historical buildings, an old snow train and an old footbridge over the Union Pacific train yards.
We left there an went to the Boulder Fair grounds for two days. We went down to Boulder and saw Janice for a short visit. Today we traveled to Fountain, CO where we will meetup with our next Caravan on Sunday,
