We were camped at Cottonwood RV Park in Bluff Utah. We took a bus tour to Monument Valley and visited the Navajo Park Visitor Center. We toured monument Valley in an open truck driven by a Navajo since Monument Valley is on the Indian reservation. It was quite a trip on the dirt roads and the sights were amazing as you will see in the pictures. We had a nice lunch at Gouldings restaurant.we then continued the bus tour to Gooseneck State park and saw the Mexican hat rock formation. Goose Neck State park gives great views of the San Juan River.

We had another all day bus trip to National Monument, Natural bridges, Valley of the Gods,Muley Point Lookout and Moki Dugway. The views were unbelievable but the most unforgettable was Moki Dugway which is a road ou to the top of the mesa. This road is gravel and not real wide. It climbs 1000 feet in it 3 mile length. Many of the grades are at least 10 %. You will see the views of this road in the pictures. The bus driver told us that ore trucks use to haul uranium ore down the road. We saw the remains of one ore truck that went off the edge. He said there was local driver who hauls hay with a semi truck and trailer down the road. When he goes back up the rear wheels on one side of the trailer hang over the edge but the suspension is stiff enough when it is empty that he can do it. We could see the tracks where they went off the edge then came back on.
