I have the rest of the Alaska pictures to post. The trip from Coeur D'Alene, Idaho to Prince George British Columbia was 61 days. We stayed really busy with all the sightseeing and all the meals. We really ate good. The total trip from home and back was 10,000 miles. If you have not been to Alaska you should but it on your bucket list.

If you go to the pictures for Watson Lake in the previous post you will see pictures of the Kennel we visited that had 150 Husky sled dogs including 15 puppies.

Fairbanks Alaska 2017

Denali Alaska 2017

We toured the Denali National Park. You will see the pictures of the bears, elk  mountain goats and moose. The mountain goats were hard to see since they were a long way up the mountain but the bus  had a long range video camera that showed them on the tv screens. We had a full view of Mount Denali which is over 20,000 feet high. You can only drive 15 miles into the park in a private auto. We took a tour bus and drove in 60 miles.

Anchorage Alaska 2017

In this group of pictures you will see some float planes which you see everywhere. There are the only way to get to a lot of places. The silver salmon were running when we were there. They swim up river, lay their eggs then die. The bears love them.

Homer Alaska 2017

You will see bald eagles and otters as well glaciers.


Seward Alaska 2017

We got real close to a glacier on a boat trip.
