Alaska trip continues

We are here at South Padre Island Texas for another two weeks. The park is full of Mexican Nationals for Easter weekend. By Monday the park will seem deserted because most of the winter Texans have left.
Well back to the Alaska trip,

This was our farewell dinner.

Note the snow we encountered in Bute, Montana. It was the middle of September but Bute is above 5000 feet elevation.

This ends the Alaska trip.

Here are some pictures from this year on South Padre Island.

The pictures include our friends at dinner (many time we had 16) and then around te camp fire. There is a picture catching two fish at once and of of the large red drum i caught in the surf.
There are pictures of a turtle release. These sea turtles were rescued when the Gulf got to cold for them and they wash up on the beach. These 50 turtles had been nursed back to health.
