Our stay here at South Padre Island is fast drawing to a close. We will be leaving here on the 7th of April. We have a busy year ahead starting with our Rivers West Tour which is a 45 day trip from St. Charles, MO. to The Pacific Ocean in Oregon following the Lewis and Clark route. We will then spend about 6 weeks in the north west before heading to Michigan. We will be touring Michigan with 4 couples we meet last summer on our tour. We expect to leave Michigan in early October and head for Texas.
We plan to come back to South Padre Island in 2016 for February and March. Then after a short stat at home we will be heading for Bar Harbor, Maine for a 49 day tour of the Canadian Providences including Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
I forgot to mention in the last post that we visited an amazing small museum in San Antonio called Barney Smith's Toilet Seat Museum. Barney has made over 1000 toilet seats. At age 93 he is still making them. He was married for 74 years but his wife passed away several years ago. Check it out on line.

Here are some pictures from South Padre Island. Catching two fish at a time is a lot of fun. We attended a fish fry our friends put on. Everybody brought food and desserts. After a busy day Judy and the dogs take a nap.

Well thats about it for now. We are going to hear a local musician on the beach and then to an Italian restaurant for dinner.
